Use Docage (Docage Sign) V1 to search contacts, prepare signature transactions from templates, inspect signature status, send explicitly approved reminders, cancel an active transaction, and download existing document/proof archives.
Once connected, supported Docage actions can become steps in a reusable workflow alongside the other services your team uses. Run the workflow once, on a schedule, or when an event starts it.
What you can do with Docage
- Read accessible contacts, names, and contact lists without changing contacts or consuming signature credits.
- Read accessible transactions, template names, member/file metadata, and signature status. POST status lookup is a read, not a launch.
- Launch a prepared draft for signature, notify signatories, and begin a potentially chargeable signature workflow.
- Download existing transaction document contents and document/proof archives. Reads do not create or launch signatures.
- Create or update contacts, including custom fields and box associations.
- Create a draft transaction or update editable transaction properties and associations.
- Send reminders to unsigned members. These GET endpoints send messages and are not ordinary reads.
- Create a complete transaction with documents and members. The provider defaults launchTransaction to true; launch can notify signatories and completed signatures incur provider charges.
